When I'm not nerding out on organization and efficiency at work, I'm trying to keep up with my three daughters or pretending to be a carpenter around the house. Thank God for YouTube!

Charity Work

Children and Youth First Organization Nepal

The RAIN Team wholeheartedly believes and supports CYFC's mission: When you invest in children, you invest in the future. That is why for the past years, we have proudly donated (and continue to do) to CYFC (Children and Youth First Organization Nepal) every month.

The dedicated team behind CYFC has been addressing social causes in Nepal for years, working for the rights of Nepal's children, women and minorities. RAIN's monthly contribution help provide essential vegetables, milk, and eggs for the children, contributing to their growth and well-being.

Helping Underprivileged Kids in California

In both outings, the Rain staff participated as volunteers to ensure these activities were extremely fun!

California Science Center

RAIN paid to take children from underprivileged areas in Los Angeles to the California Science Center. We took care of the buses and logistics for the teachers and kids to get there, as we well as the meals after.

Day at the Beach

RAIN organized a "day at the beach" for kids who, while being born and raised in Southern California, had never set foot in the ocean. RAIN covered transportation and meals. We went to Dockweiler Beach in Los Angeles.

SpecialXmas - Bringing Back the Joy of Christmas

Our mission is to bring back the joy of  Christmas to those who are currently in emergency situations. Understanding we can't change the world in one day, SpecialXmas will focus on helping women and children in shelters in Los Angeles.

This was a project I personally run, and Skyler (on behalf of RAIN) issues a large donation to the cause. We were able to take a group of homeless women out shopping for their kids and themselves to make their Christmas extra special.

A couple years later, a friend of mine run a similar project and Skyler also issued a donation on behalf of RAIN. They were able to provide 20 kids with Christmas gifts and cookies. These kids are runaways or had to leave home because of unhealthy domestic issues and this gift may be the only one they get.
